The role of trust in modern organizations has, during the last decade, become a significant topic within studies of organizations. This research has however rarely paid much attention to the role of computers and telecommunications for developing and sustaining trust. In particular, several contributions focus on the role of trust for virtual organizations and virtual teams. The book is part of IGI globals series of premier references for information science & technology research.
